Summer is a season of gatherings, vacations, enjoyment, and entertainment, Jalsa and also trying to keep up with earning a livelihood. However, during this busy time, our remembrance of Allah often gets neglected. It's important to remain mindful of this and take steps to ensure that our connection with Allah remains strong throughout the summer and later. The instruction is 39:67 (Az Zumar) Balilallaha Fahbud wa kun minashakayreen : Aye, worship Allah and be among the grateful

Gratitude (Arabic: shukr) and servitude (ubudiyyah) are deeply connected. Gratitude is the recognition and appreciation of blessings, while servitude is the conscious act of worship, obedience, and humility before the Allah Gratitude Elevates Servitude: When servitude is rooted in gratitude, it is sincere and joyful, not forced or burdensome. This transforms worship from obligation into a heartfelt response to Divine generosity.

The Essence of Sincere Prayer

The Essence of Sincere Prayer requires the alignment of mind, heart, and action. It is not merely the utterance of words, but a conscious engagement with their meaning, a recognition of one's shortcomings, and a heartfelt turning toward God.

Sincere prayer is an act of both the heart and the mind, leading to transformation in daily life. By consciously aligning our words, thoughts, and actions, we cultivate a deeper connection with the Divine and foster genuine spiritual growth. It is a difficult process because we have too many distractions and pre- occupations.

It is recommended that to start with we focus on The phrase and prayer "La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah"—meaning " It is a means to seek divine help, especially when facing distractions, difficulties, or challenges of the mind. acknowledging that true control and focus come only through His help. Ibn Abbas and Ibn Mas'ud explained that this phrase means: "We have no power to act obediently except by Allah, nor do we have strength to leave a sin except by Allah." Having done that we should turn to a prayer or remembrance of Allah

Beloved Phrases to the Most Merciful

Hazrat Abu Hurraira (ra) narrates that the Prophet (sa) said : Kalimataani habibataani ila ar-Rahman, khafifatani 'ala al-lisan, taqilatani fil mizan: "Two phrases are beloved to the Most Merciful, light on the tongue, but heavy on the scale Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi, Subhanallahil 'Azim : 'Glory and praise be to Allah; Glory be to Allah, the Almighty.'"

Best way to remember Allah , to glorify Him and praise Him is to love and invoke blessings on those most endearing to Allah. The Prophet (sa) is the most endearing to Allah.

It was revealed to Promised Messiah : Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi, Subhanallahil azeem, Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ala aali Muhammad ( tariaqul quloob Tonic for the heart page 208 Ruhanni Khazain Vol 15)

The English translation of the phrase: Subhanallahi wa bihamdihi: Glory be to Allah and all praise belongs to Him. Subhanallahil azeem: Glory be to Allah, the Almighty. Allahumma salli ala Muhammadin wa ala aali Muhammad: O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad.

This combination of reciting these prayers has been encouraged because this combined supplication praises and glorifies Allah, and invokes blessings upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad (as) and his family and thus constitutes a most comprehensive yet a very short prayer that facilitates Seeking nearness to Allah. Seeking His pleasure

Seeking Nearness to Allah

The PM said man should have a yearning to attain nearness to God by virtue of which he will become worthy in God's sight. Allah placed His remembrance above salat in value by making salat the means and remembrance the goal. As Allah says in Taha (20:15) Aaqimisalata lay zikri and observe salat for my remembrance. Remember Allah always (whether standing, sitting or lying on your sides) (3:192) Allazena yazkorunallaha qiyamoan wa qaoodoan wa ala janobayhim

Someone asked the PM (as) as to why do we have to repeat praise of Allah in ruku and sujud 3 times .The PM (as) said wazkurullah kaseerun (62:11) means remember Allah much, means repetition . As Allah and His attributes get embedded in the mind, gradually the heart leans towards Him. Allah also emphasizes in Quran celebrate the praises of Allah as you celebrated the praises of your fathers, or even more than that 2:201

The Ideal State of Remembrance

The ideal state to strive for is "Let your hands be engaged in work, but let your heart remain with your Beloved (God)." (Dast ba kaar, dil ba yaar) This phrase encapsulates the idea that a believer can—and should—remember God and maintain spiritual connection even amidst worldly duties. In Malfuzat the Promised Messiah (as) said: "The true believer is he whose hands are at work, but whose heart is with his Lord." (Haath kaam mein mashghool ho, lekin dil apne Maula ke saath ho.) The Promised Messiah (as) also says in Arabic : "Yad ta'amal wa qalb yata'allaq billāh" Haat kaam karay dil Allah say wabasta rahey "The hand is engaged in work, but the heart is connected to God."This beautifully expresses the teaching that while you fulfill your worldly duties, your heart should remain devoted to and conscious of God.

Invoking Blessings Upon the Prophet

Tirmzi reports Ubayy ibn Ka`b (ra)also called Abu Munzur relates: "Once he said to the Prophet (sa) 'O Messenger of Allah, I increasingly invoke blessings upon you in my supplications. What portion of that should be prayer upon you? The Prophet (sa) replied, 'However much you wish. 'To this, I said, 'A fourth?' He said, 'If you wish, but should you increase that number, it will be better for you. 'I then said, 'A third?' And he said, 'If you wish, and if you increase it, it is still better for you.'' A half?' I asked. He replied, 'If you wish, and if you do more, it is still better for you. 'I then said, 'Indeed! Then I shall make all of my prayers upon you!' To this, he responded, 'If you do that "Then, your worries will be dispelled and your sins will be forgiven" . [at-Tirmidhi; No. 929 Mishkat al-Masabih.]
